To extend the service life of the mold, the heat treatment process will have an impact.
In order to prolong the service life of the mold, the optimization of heat treatment process is very important. The main factors affecting the quality of heat treatment are heating speed, quenching temperature, cooling rate and tempering temperature. After analysis and practice, the following heat treatment processes are suitable for general enterprises, which can meet the mechanical performance requirements of 4Cr5MoSiV steel at high temperature.
1. Preheating. The temperature is 600~630 C, the heat preservation time is 1.5 ~ 2H and the mold size is determined. Then it is heated to 830~850 and 1.5 ~ 2H. This process is pretreated before quenching. It can adjust the micro defects in the workpiece and prepare the necessary conditions for quenching.
2. Quenching. On the basis of the pretreatment, the heating temperature is raised to 1040~1080 degrees C, the heat preservation is 2 ~ 2.5h, and the temperature of the workpiece is reduced to about 130 C to remove the air cooling from the oil.
3. Tempering. After quenching, the workpiece has large internal stress. It is necessary to temper the workpiece in time to eliminate the stress generated during quenching. In order to avoid the crack of the workpiece, it should be heated evenly before tempering, the concrete method is heated to 380~400 C for 1h, and then slowly heating up to 580~600 C for a tempering, the heat preservation time is 2h, and then the air cooling to the normal temperature is two times, the tempering temperature is 560~580, the heat preservation time is 2h, then the air cold is cold. .
